Throughout history there are underlying processes for control of societies that benefit only a few. The few in power are predisposed, through the accuracy of 20/20 hindsight, to have been aberrations and possibly mentally ill for wanting to control power by any means and any sacrifices necessary. Delusional. Thus we have wars and genocides and tortures and manipulations of peoples thoughts and functions. In short, totalitarian ideals.
The process repeats itself far too many times for any benefit to humankind and there is a need to recognize the processes before they reach the extreme.
Within the processes there live Archetypes which this play represents in the visual form. The Archetypes are recognizable and their tools of manipulation and rationalization will also be displayed. We are all one of the Archetypes. The one control we have at our means to battle power before it gets to the hands of destruction, is to doubt. To doubt we must be able to recognize when ideas, icons, and people are being manipulated. A half truth is a lie determined and defined by how it is used. We must learn to recognize the half truths and their mechanisms; rewriting history for example or defining morality in a limited perception of god.
It is a world problem . We need to recognize the threats before it is too late to return to common sense embraced by compassion. Thus the need for the play entitled “King Fear”.

All that is heard is his breathing and then that is gone but we see him breathing. Patterns change around and in his area. Nightmare patterns of web like structures. This is the Kings’ nightmare.
The King was angry in the beginning and wanted to be alone and physically dismissed all that were around him. Now that he is alone, the Night creeps in on him. The screens behind him become shadow screens where various images appear. Sounds are rather innocuous at first. Sporadic and natural. Twig breaks, breeze, owl, drip of water. Then they mingle a little and the lites alter. The moon rises and the King becomes more agitated. He tries to sleep but hears whispers.
The screen behind him shows Slaves drawing knives. The two Animals are scene in shadow on the far corners of the screens. Cannons are seem on the backdrop. The King becomes very afraid and tries to summon someone. He pulls a bell from his cart and shakes it, but no sound. He tries to move his cart, but his stomach will not allow.
King’s “dogs” enter to protect him. The shadows run away. The King is relieved and pets the “Dogs”. Dogs reach up and pull off their fabric faces revealing the Skulls. Shadows on the screens become the Skulls. Large Skull US screen also which cross fades to Servant. (Fear and Guilt)
He hides under the blanket. Whispers become louder and the activity behind the screens becomes more agitated and threatening. A symphony of sounds keeps building. The Skulls exit and the lights become webs. (gobos) The King throws the blanket down and he has a scream expression on his face but all the sounds stop and all the activity stops. He screams and screams with no sound. All the lites fade out leaving a head spot on the King. This pops out. (Screens are removed)
